Student Support
VSS incurs a total cost of USD 840 per student per year. Of this amount, 50% is to be borne by the student*. Balance is raised through donations. It is highly desirable that a donor supports for the entire academic career of the student who spend either 3 or 4 years with VSS. A donor can choose to support the student for this entire duration by making onetime donation of USD 1700.
*Students are encouraged to earn their portion of the fees through the Earn & Learn program.
Sponsoring meals for the Students:
Donation of USD 2800 provides 2 meals/day for 1200 students for 1 week.
Kalyanrao Jadhav Boys Hostel, Ahilya Nagar, Donation Packages:
The hostel is nearing completion. Donation Packages are available. The donor can choose to name facilities of their choice.
Sponsoring a room in New Girls Hostel
At the beginning of academic year 2024-25, a new Girls hostel with 112 rooms and 336 student’s capacity was opened. This hostel is located on the Lajpat campus of VSS behind Shivaji Housing Society, off Senapati Bapat road. Rooms are still available for sponsorship. A single room can be sponsored for a donation of USD 12,500. Donor can suggest name of their choice to be placed on a plaque outside the room.

Under this program, students engage in part-time work such as managing hostel activities, library assistance, administrative support, teaching & mentoring younger students, data entry & other digital support tasks, companionship for elderly & website development.
